Kate Ritchie was left red-faced earlier this week after she misinterpreted the behaviour of a female fan at a Taylor Swift concert in Sydney.
The Nova star, 45, told her co-hosts Fitzy and Wippa that she was initially shocked after noticing the woman appearing to undress in the stands at Accor Stadium.
There was one girl who I thought was taking her dress off. I’d seen the way they were partying, it didn’t surprise me. I’m thinking security is about to arrive,’ she began.
‘Then I realised this woman who only moments before I had seen standing on the chair, erotically dancing… She had a dress off, but she’s sitting back in her chair. I could see her bosoms.’
Ritchie then revealed she had completely misread the situation and the woman was actually a young mother putting on a breast pump.
She was taking a moment in Style to express milk. The poor woman was not going to let anything get in the way of seeing Taylor Swift,’ Ritchie said.
‘She’s ticking all the boxes: She’s a mum, an erotic dancer, a Taylor Swift fan!’
Ritchie also shared a video to social media of her attending the concert and she sported eye-popping makeup and rouge lipstick and was all smiles as she rocked her best angles at the event.
It comes as Taylor Swift, 34, finished her run of Sydney concerts on Monday evening.
She sent off the crowd with some very warm words, leaving the audience cheering in delight.
‘Looking at this crowd, the biggest crowd we’ve had at our four shows here!’ she told her fans.
The Eras Tour has seen more than 600,000 people attend the Australian leg.
A record-breaking 96,000 fans attending each of her three nights in Melbourne and a further 83,000 Swifties at each of her four shows in Sydney.
The tickets – many for prime seats – were given out at the Accor stadium venue minutes before, and even during the show, to hopeful fans waiting outside.
