A feud between Canadian rapper Drake and L.A.-based rapper Kendrick Lamar and others spilled over into Vancouver on Sunday night after a concert by rapper Rick Ross at the Ignite Music Festival.

Ross had completed his music set and left the Plaza of Nations stage with his support staff around 10:30 p.m., with Lamar’s anti-Drake song “Not Like Us” playing in the background.

Several videos shots at the scene show a group of men blocking the path of Ross and his entourage.

After a minute or so of verbal back and forth, a white man appears to punch Ross in the face, at which point one of Ross’ entourage grabs another man and a wild brawl ensues that includes several racist shouts.

One of Ross’s entourage is knocked to the ground and then gets up to his knees, at which point several people punch and kick him in the head. He stands up and walks away in a daze as the verbal exchange continues.

Another melee then breaks out, during which one male is knocked unconscious.

On Monday morning, Ross left a message on social media stating, “Vancouver is a beautiful city.” He told TMZ no one from his posse was injured in the brawl.

Drake and Lamar have made headlines recently for their continuing public feud.

Earlier in May, Drake’s Toronto mansion was the scene of a police investigation after a security guard working on the property was shot and sent to hospital in serious condition.
