Taylor Swift beamed with delight as she hugged her dad while watching boyfriend Travis Kelce take to the field amid engagement rumours.
The chart-topping singer was seen dressed in a Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt and a red and white bobble hat, with her trademark red lipstick brightening her face as she grinned from ear-to-ear while enjoying the embrace. Taylor, 34, even got her dad Scott backing the Chiefs in a sweatshirt of his own as they attended the game in ice cold conditions in Foxborough.
Taylor jetted in to Massachusetts on Sunday morning for the fixture against the New England Patriots after an unlucky two-game losing streak for the Chiefs. Taylor watched from the stands with Travis’ teammate Patrick Mahomes wife Brittany, as well as her good friend Alana Haim, of pop band Haim, with her two sisters, and stylist Ashley Avignone
The trip comes after engagement rumours have swirled around Taylor and Travis following their whirlwind romance. Travis is reported to have asked Scott for his blessing as he prepares to propose, with the couple’s romance heating up day by day.
Travis has asked the singer’s father Scott Swift for his permission for her hand in marriage. The source gushed to the outlet: “Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring.”
And, apparently, Travis is even getting the rumoured engagement ring designed, with it currently in production as we speak, or already in his possession. A source spoke to Life & Style recently, with them also hinting that Travis could “propose” over the romantic festive period as they enjoy their first Christmas as a couple, they said: “There are whispers that he could use the opportunity to propose – that’s what everyone, including Taylor, is hoping for!”
Travis and Taylor first got together over the summer, going public with their romance in September. Since then they have gone on a string of dates putting on PDA’s to the delight of her fans. It all started after the NFL hunk expressed his interest in the singer after he attended an Eras Tour gig in July, with him also revealing that he had made a friendship bracelet for the singer with his phone number on it, but failed to give it to her.
