While most fans were delighted by Taylor Swift’s presence at the Chiefs’ latest game against the New England Patriot, it seems some weren’t that impressed.
After a week full of birthday celebrations, the singer decided once again to grace the Arrowhead stadium with her presence.
And despite theories recently surfacing about Swift perhaps being a bad luck charm – the Chiefs recent poor run of results seemed to coincide with the singer’s attendance at games-, it seems that no longer is the case, with the team managing to defeat the Patriots comfortably as she cheered on Travis on Sunday.
Despite that, there did appear to be some dissent show towards to the superstar’s appearance. At one point during the game, the cameras focused on her face as she was sitting in one of the VIP boxes with Brittany Mahomes.
Swift’s projection onto the big screens seemed to prompt boos from some sections of the crowd and it’s likely that the disapproval came from those loyal to the away team.
It clearly didn’t affect the singer, though, who has been praised for her courageous response. As seen in a video of the interaction, Swift- who was wearing a Chiefs themed Santa hat-, smiled back before blowing a kiss at the thousands of fans at the game. Scott Swift, who was sitting next to her daughter, also proudly showed off some Chiefs merch. They clearly weren’t bothered by the mixed reaction.
