Brady was referring specifically to a clip of an angry-looking Mahomes trying to motivate his offensive linemen on the sidelines during the loss.

‘I love the way Patrick approaches it. Believe me with the confidence that he is a player. I don’t think that he thinks anyone can really stop him,’ Brady said during an episode of the ‘Let’s go Podcast.’

I still believe in what the Chiefs are doing in that. And I’m never going to bet against a guy like Patrick because I think he’s such a phenomenal player and leader.’

Mahomes’ fiery attempt at leadership may have backfired, however, as only moments later the Chiefs offense surrendered back-to-back defensive touchdowns in an NFL record of seven seconds.

Mahomes ended up finishing the first half against the Raiders with only 97 passing yards, while also throwing a ‘pick six’ only moments after an equally costly fumble.

After surrendering the two touchdowns to the Raiders defense Kansas City entered the half trailing 17-7.

Mahomes also let his emotions shine brightly when he was fined $50,000 after throwing his helmet to the ground and yelling at the officials over a correct offside call against the Buffalo Bills.

His frustration during the win against the Patriots two weeks ago after tossed his helmet again following an interception, he threw to New England linebacker Marte Mapu.

Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs struggles on offense this year has even led NFL analyst Danny Kanell even went as far as to say this is the worst season of the 28-year-old QB’s career.
