Ahead of the Chief’s Saturday prime-time showdown against the Miami Dolphins, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid also released that he won’t be retiring either.

Kelce shared at a press conference on Thursday ahead of the NFL Playoffs,

He is an 11-year veteran and a possible future Hall of Famer, who is also the Chiefs’ longest-tenured player. Kelce arrived in Kansas just a few months after coach Andy Reid was hired in January 2013.

As per his records, a nine-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro who also made the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s All-2010s Team.

Last week, the Chiefs secured their eighth consecutive division title after their 25-17 win over the Bengals, with that a ninth straight playoff berth and an opening-round home game.

Considering Kelce’s records and the Chiefs’ performance, the retirement talk could not be concluded with Kelce’s retirement, as he seems focused on clinching his third Lombardi Trophy. First up is a home game with the Miami Dolphins in the AFC Wild Card round on Saturday evening.
