Buffalo didn’t make the cut for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour,” but the superstar singer might be heading there this weekend after all.
The Bills and Kansas City Chiefs are set for the AFC divisional round of the playoffs with kickoff slated for 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Swift, who is dating the Chiefs’ star tight end Travis Kelce, could very well be making her way to Buffalo to watch Kelce on his own stage in Orchard Park.
Swift has attended six of the last seven Chiefs games, the latest being Kansas City’s 26-7 win over the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead Stadium in the Wild Card round. She also attended a previous matchup between the Chiefs and Bills in Week 14, a game Buffalo won, 20-17 on Dec. 10. The Bills haven’t lost since, winning six straight including a 31-17 clubbing of the Steelers in the Wild Card.
For those who are superstitious, here’s how the Chiefs have fared with Swift in attendance. Of the 10 games with Swift up in a VIP suite, Kansas City is 7-3. Swift has been to seven home games and three away games this season. Of those 10 games, Kelce has scored a touchdown in two of them.
Luckily for Swift, she’ll be in a warm suite as the temperature for the Bills-Chiefs game at Highmark Stadium is currently forecast to be 20 degrees.
