Taylor Swift early Friday donated $100,000 to an online fundraiser set up to benefit the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the radio DJ who was killed Wednesday in the shooting that took place during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade.
NATO’s original premise was simple: An attack on one member would be considered an attack on all. It worked. We won the Cold War.
But the need for NATO didn’t disappear. Former communist countries, as well as some of the nations that emerged from the rubble of the Soviet empire, didn’t take their newly found freedom for granted.
