Fox News anchor Jeanine Pirro on Monday said Taylor Swift getting involved in politics would just “alienate” her fans.
“You know, they come across from every political ideology, why put yourself in one area?” Pirro asked during an episode of The Five.
“So, don’t get involved. Don’t get involved in politics, we don’t want to see you there.”
Pirro’s remarks came not long after the New York Times reported President Joe Biden’s campaign considered sending him to Swift’s most recent concert tour and that the campaign is seeking Swift’s endorsement.
Swift endorsed Biden in 2020 and has also entered the political arena in the past to encourage people to vote and to campaign against Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn.
Failed Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has gone so far as to suggest without evidence that Swift and boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, are “artificially culturally propped-up” by the media with the end goal of a Biden endorsement after Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, wins the Super Bowl.
