Taylor Swift’s cousin says that he helped spark the “love connection” between the pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
“Funny thing is, a lot of people have been trying to figure out who I am lately,” Swift’s second cousin, dirt track racer Danny Frye III, told FloRacing TV on Saturday.
“It’s been an interesting month or so. I’ve been going to a few Chiefs games. You know, made a love connection between her and Travis Kelce, so it’s been quite the 34 years that [Taylor and I have] had together.”
Swift and Kelce have been dating since summer 2023. “This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift told Time last month. “We started hanging out right after that … By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple.”
“There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said], ‘Yo! Did you know he was coming?’ I had somebody playing Cupid,” Kelce told WSJ Magazine in November. “She [later] told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out.”
